Slaughter went to battle with legends like Bruno Sammartino, Pedro Morales, Pat Patterson and even Andre The Giant. He would even be immortalized as part of the toy line G.I. Joe. Slaughter took part in one of the most memorable turns in wrestling history when he turned his back on the USA and main evented WrestleMania 7 against Hulk Hogan.
