A former bodybuilder turned professional wrestler - Tony Atlas would make history capturing the World Tag Team Championship and is regarded as one of the most influential and significant African-American Superstars in the history of sports-entertainment. Tony debuted in 1974 in the NWA and was nnown for his imposing physique and signature Gorilla Press Slam. He would win the NWA Georgia Heavyweight, Television and Tag Team Championships, as well as, several other regional championships during his time in the NWA. He would make history winning the WWF Tag Team Titles alongside Rocky Johnson. Today we are joined by WWE Hall of Fame Legend, Tony Atlas!
